Hemendra
Aran: CEO & Founder
Hemendra founded Aranca in 2003 with an ambition to provide
high quality research and analytics to global clients. He has extensive
experience in outsourcing, having started his career with
Infosys where he worked with global corporations such as Goldman
Sachs, Reebok and Thomson Electronics. He has authored several books
on the topics of outsourcing and global financial markets. He is a
regular commentator and has appeared in prestigious media channels such as
The BBC, CNBC and The Economic Times. He has also delivered talks at
top-tier institutes such as London School of Economics, the IIMs and the IITs.
Hemendra is passionate about entrepreneurship and aspires to build Aranca into a
market leader in research. Hemendra is an alumnus of London Business School
(MBA), Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley and
Indian Institute of Technology (Madras).
Madhusudan Rajagopalan: Director, India Operations
Madhusudan has been part of Aranca since inception and has
overseen the scale up of Aranca's operations in India. He
manages the delivery of a range of research solutions to global
clients. He started his career as a management consultant
with Accenture where he served large clients across sectors
in a range of strategy and business performance improvement
assignments. Madhusudan is an alumnus of the Indian Institute
of Management, Bangalore and IIT Madras (B.Tech).
Amith Karan: Director, Business Development & Strategy
Amith has over 10 years of business building and management
consulting experience. He started his career with Asian Paints
in India where he helped build international operations and
subsequently led a regional unit in India. He then worked
with McKinsey & Company, where he served global clients
while based in London. At McKinsey & Company, Amith worked
across a range of sectors and business areas. Amith holds
an MBA from London Business School and a Bachelors in Science.
Neeraj Bhardwaj: Director, Business Development
Neeraj is an entrepreneur with over 10 years of experience
in financial services, outsourcing and consulting. Neeraj
started his career with the Bank of England as a bank analyst
working with a leading US financial services firms operating
in the UK. He then founded one of the first business process
outsourcing companies and subsequently an outsourcing consulting
firm. Most recently he was the CEO of Rocsearch, a leading
business research provider based in the UK and India. Neeraj
brings considerable experience in capability building and
business development to Aranca. Neeraj has a Bachelors in
Finance from the London School of Economics and an MBA from
London Business School.
Christopher Kingsman:Non-Executive Director
Christopher started his career at Fidelity International-
London, where he worked till 2002, before setting up and managing
a hedge fund till 2005. He currently works with a private
investment partnership in Germany. Christopher graduated from
Cambridge University in the UK.
Lisa Davis, Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Strategic Alliances
Lisa has recently joined Aranca team as Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Strategic Alliances. In a career spanning over 25 years, Lisa led many national as well as international sales, marketing and business development organizations both in the US and in Europe in the high tech and professional services sectors. Prior to joining Aranca, Lisa founded two professional services firms, the second of which was a valuation firm acquired by SVB Analytics where she joined as Managing Director in 2007. Overseeing sales, she took SVB Analytics from less than 50 clients to more than 1100. She left SVB to focus on building Vicinage, a community of C-level executives who could benefit from each other’s perspective, insight and best practices. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from George Washington University.
Eswaran Krishnan, Managing Editor
Eswaran has been a career journalist for 15-odd years. He
began as a reporter with financial daily Business Standard,
covering stock markets and mutual funds. After about two years
of reporting, he opted to help others find their words by
joining the editorial section of the Press Trust of India
(PTI), India's leading newswire. Since then, Eswaran has worked
with a number of national and international media and research
houses, including US newswire BridgeNews, where he led the
organization's US and UK equities desk. Prior to joining Aranca,
he worked with JPMorganChase as a Process Manager, responsible
for editing and production activities across the Asia-Pacific
region. Eswaran has a post graduate degree in English Literature
from the University of Bombay.
Kannan Siva, Vice President (Operations)
Kannan has 16- years of experience in strategy / performance
improvement consulting and managing service delivery in the
outsourcing industry. He started his career with Avalon Consulting
(Mumbai) where he worked for 11 years and managed more than
100 consulting assignments across a diverse range of industries
and clients. As the President of Nirvana Business Solutions,
a Bangalore based BPO, Kannan was part of the senior management
team that grew the company from a fledgling startup to a 400+
man organization in a period of three years. He joined Aranca
after a stint in Cable&Wireless, where he was responsible
for establishing the company's Dedicated Service business
and other strategic initiatives. At Aranca, Kannan plays a
lead role in guiding the Business Research team and is responsible
for a range of corporate priorities including establishment
of standard quality processes, productivity improvement and
operational enhancement initiatives. He also has responsibility
for managing the Pre-sales team and in developing strategies
for the company's growth.
Srinivas Macha, Vice President (IT, KM and Corporate Communications)
Srinivas brings over 16 years of experience in diverse professions
including business and technology journalism, media and advertising,
market research, operations and IT to the table. He has led
the India edition of an international technology magazine
titled MM-The Industry Magazine belonging to Vogel Media Group,
Germany as the Executive Editor, managed a medium-sized ad
agency and served as a Senior Analyst with ARC Advisory Group,
Inc - a Boston based global manufacturing consulting company.
Prior to joining Aranca, Srinivas successfully launched and
managed a 40-people remote print publishing services BPO for
a graphics firm in Mumbai. At Aranca, Srinivas's functional
responsibilities include IT, Knowledge Management, Corporate
Communications, Marketing and Branding related activities.
He played a vital role in building up the Editorial desk and
is responsible for managing Aranca's world-class IT infrastructure.
Ravi Prakash, Vice President (Sales)
Based in Silicon Valley, Ravi is responsible for demand generation,
customer acquisition , alliances, partnerships and plays a
key role in driving revenues for ARANCA specifically in the
area of valuations for IRC409A, SFAS 123R, SFAS 141, SFAS
142 and SFAS 15X. Ravi brings to Aranca over a decade of experience
in offshore outsourcing and his global exposure of having
worked in geographies such as Middle-East and India. Prior
to joining Aranca, Ravi has held senior sales positions at
leading organization like Conexant and HCL. Apart from KPO
and Business Valuations Ravi’s broad experience includes
technology domains like Enterprise Software, Telecom Carrier
Solutions, Semiconductor and Embedded Systems. Ravi is a Certified
Public Accountant and has completed a Certificate in Finance
from UC Berkeley.
